It’s KinshokuCon’s second year, and we’re looking for passionate and enthusiastic fans of all kinds to host a variety of programming!
Interested in Bringing Exciting Content to KinshokuCon 2026?
The team at KinshokuCon 2026 is searching for exciting events, panels, workshops, and other types of programming for our convention! Do you want to do a presentation on your favorite anime? Teach other people an exciting new craft? Host a game show to test audiences’ knowledge and skills? Are you a performer or part of a performance group that is ready to light up a room? This is the application for you! Whether it’s just you or a group of friends, if you are a seasoned veteran or a first-timer looking to find a start, we welcome all applications and can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Types of Programming:
NOTE: It is the panelists’ responsibility that any content used in programming is either acquired legally or can be deemed under the assumption of fair use. KinshokuCon is not responsible for any kinds of issues that arise from the Panelist’s use of content post application approval.
18+ Programming
If you believe your event will include mature content (this includes profanity), please make sure to let us know in your application. KinshokuCon 2026 is an all ages convention, and we want everyone to be able to enjoy as much programming as possible. Having 18+ content will not negatively affect your event’s chances of being approved, but may limit it to be hosted during later hours of the event. 18+ programming may not occur during Sunday due to an earlier closing time.
Programming Etiquette
- Event host(s) must abide by the KinshokuCon 2026 Code of Conduct at all times.
- Host(s) will be given five (5) minutes before and after the event to set up / tear down. Main Events will be given additional time at the discretion of the KinshokuCon organizers. Host(s) should not linger any longer than necessary in order to give the next event a chance to set up.
- Host(s) are expected to stay true to the event that was accepted, and not use their approved time to do something contrary to what was submitted on the accepted application.
- If it is found that the host(s) are not abiding by these rules, KinshokuCon organizers and/or staff reserve the right to promptly shut down the event if deemed necessary.
- Above all else – be respectful and have fun!
Programming Compensation
As a thank you for contributing to the success of KinshokuCon 2026, we will compensate the primary host, as listed on the programming application, with one (1) single-day badge for the day your event is scheduled. If you are a part of a performance group, additional badges will be given out at the discretion of the KinshokuCon organizers. All applicants are required to purchase a badge to KinshokuCon 2026 upon acceptance of your event. You will be reimbursed within thirty (30) days of the end of the convention (November 8th, 2026).
Application Process
We would love to hear about all of your different ideas for programming, and you are welcome to submit multiple applications! As a disclaimer, be aware that the programming acceptance process involves a juried review of each application, and not every event submitted will be accepted.
Applications will be reviewed upon the closure of this application, and primary decisions will be sent out two (2) months before the convention. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at kinshokucon@gmail.com.
