JapanWNY
The Japan Culture Center of Western New York Inc. (JapanWNY) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization registered with the New York State Charity Bureau. JapanWNY assists in building and maintaining exchange initiatives between the WNY community and the Japanese cities Kanazawa and Hamamastu; while offering a broad spectrum of traditional and contemporary Japanese cultural programs and events.
Hidden Village
Hidden Village is Buffalo’s Black Geek collective that holds events and spaces for pop-culture fanhoods to create, network, and bond over common interests. Every event is themed around fictional media and trending ideas, with room for both entertainment and learning. Fans of comic books, anime, fantasy, music, performance art, and related realms of education come together to socialize and exchange.
Anime Night
Anime Night ® is America’s ultimate anime party. Listen—we get it. This whole anime music in clubs thing? Doesn’t exactly come with a guidebook. Think all the fun stuff you love about the culture like cosplaying, artists, performances, etc—but at a rock show.
Community Lifeline Project
The Community Lifeline Project of WNY, Inc. equips people across Western New York and New York State with the skills and resources to respond in critical moments. Through CPR, bleeding control, naloxone education, and community partnerships, we help build safer, more resilient communities.
