These rules and policies also set forth expectations for our volunteers as representatives of KinshokuCon. After you have reviewed this page, please fill out the application and a member of our Volunteers Department will reach out to you.

Volunteer Application Process

Once you have read through the remainder of this page, you are required to fill out an application. You will not be able to volunteer at KinshokuCon 2025 if we have not received a completed Volunteer Application. Once you have applied a member of our Volunteers Department will reach out to you in Late August/September 2025 to make sure that you are still available for the convention and see what type of position you are interested in. You will be required to attend one (1) Discord meeting in the month before the event so we can review policies and show you the space. You will receive your department and shifts will become available for sign-up at least three (3) weeks before the convention on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Rules and Expectations

As a volunteer, you must follow these rules:

  • Report to Con Ops on time and prepared for your shift.
  • Work all shifts that you sign up for. If you are unable to work a shift, please contact your Department Head and give notice ahead of time.
  • If there is a situation that requires additional support from staff, seek a Staff member immediately.
